- Issue
- The headline names a product category. It doesn't say who it's for or what changes for them.
- Why it matters
- Cold visitors decide from the first screen whether to keep reading. A generic line gives them no reason to.
- Recommended change
- Lead with the buyer and the outcome. Replace “Learn more” with the real next step.
Get more leads from the traffic you already have.
I find what's stopping your visitors becoming leads, write the fixes, mock them up, and design the tests to prove them.
Money back if your conversion rate doesn't move.

Where I've run growth and CRO
What to expect from your starting point
B2B traffic is often too low for small tweaks to show up, so I make big, deliberate changes. Most of my tests win, and the winners average 40%+.
What your conversion rate is costing you
Enter three numbers. The projection uses the ranges above.
Some of what I look for
- Message and positioningWho it's for (the buyer persona who signs), what you do, the problem in their words, why you over the alternatives.
- Narrative and processPage order, what happens after the click, the timeline and effort you ask of the buyer.
- Calls to actionOne clear next step, where it sits, what competes with it, how much it asks for and when.
- Trust and riskNamed proof, case studies, real people, price signals and guarantees near the point of decision.
- Forms and bookingFields, labels, qualifying questions, the booking flow and the thank-you page.
- Navigation and pathsMenus built around buyer questions, paths by persona or use case, dead ends.
- Microcopy and objectionsJargon, reassurance beside buttons and fields, objections answered, mobile layout.
- Traffic and measurementMessage match from ads and emails, tracking gaps, page speed.

What you get
Four parts for every issue I find: where it is, the fix, the why, what the fix looks like, and how to test it.
- 1 Headline names a category, not an outcome
- 2 “Learn more” is the only CTA above the fold
- 3 Customer logos sit below three screens of copy
- 4 Demo form asks for 6 fields before any value
- Hypothesis
- If the hero names the buyer and the outcome and offers a demo, more cold visitors will reach the demo form, because they can tell straight away the product is for them.
- Variant
- B: new headline, “Book a demo” as primary CTA, logo row moved above the fold.
- Primary metric
- Demo requests per unique visitor
- Guardrail metric
- Share of demo requests that qualify

“We're obsessed with growth. It's all we talk about. And one of the people who've really helped us adapt to the next phase of growth is Jayson. You feel that he is playing the long-game with you from the start.”

Jayson Robinson
I started at Deloitte Digital, moved into product management, and have spent most of the last decade running growth at B2B scale-ups. At Toptal I led a growth product team while ARR grew from the low hundreds of millions into the mid hundreds of millions. At BairesDev I was Senior Director of Growth Product: sitewide conversion went up 275% and we won 70% of our A/B tests. I've taught over 500 product managers, marketers and founders. I run VectorCRO alongside Polyviam, my strategy and coaching practice. I do every sprint myself. I'm based in London.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens on the fit call?
In 30 minutes, I check your traffic and tracking are enough for this to work, and answer your questions and talk you through the process. If it's not a fit, I'll say so.
Which tier do I need? Do I need the Figma file?
If you have a designer or developer who works in Figma, take the Figma tier. If a developer will build straight from mockups, the Sprint is enough.
How much traffic do I need?
Enough that a real improvement shows up clearly in your numbers. It depends on your current conversion rate, so I check it on the fit call.
What if my conversion rate doesn't improve?
If it doesn't improve by at least 20%, you get a full refund. The conditions are in the guarantee.
Who does the work?
Me, personally. Nothing is outsourced.
How is this different from an agency retainer?
Fixed scope, fixed price, five days. No retainer.
Why pay for this instead of reading free CRO advice?
Generic advice gives generic fixes. This is specific to your site, your buyers and your funnel.
Can I book another sprint later?
Yes.
Book a 30-minute fit call.
I'll check your traffic and tracking, and tell you straight whether a sprint makes sense for your site.
